UNEP TUNZA Report

From the the 5^th to the 9^th of February at the Youth and Children conference organized by the Centre for Environment and Education, India (CEE) together with UNEP TUNZA we were able to carry out an educational session for youth and children. Most of the participants were from India but representatives from most of the South Asian and Asia Pacific regions were also present at the conference.

We educated the participants about the projects that are carried out in Sri Lanka and gathered valuable advice and suggestions for future projects. This was a great opportunity to network among other countries and shares, a common passion for the environment. The session was carried out by Rehan Fernando, co-founder of the National Road to Rio campaign, Sri Lanka and the national advisor for UNEP TUNZA.
